Questionnaires – Toronto Aortic Stenosis QoL Questionnaire

The TASQ questionnaire has been developed in English. Translations are available in simplified Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Indian (in the official languages Malayalam and Tamil), Italian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Turkish and Welsh language.

The TASQ is a 16-item, health-specific Quality of Life survey. The questionnaire was developed to be a brief instrument consisting of 5 domains addressing the physical, emotional and social factors associated with aortic stenosis disease. The scoring for each of the 16 questions is based on a consistent 7-point Likert scale, with response options from „not very much“ to „very much“. Reversed scoring (except for question 16) is used so that increasing values are consistent with better Quality of Life.

Each question has a maximum score of 7, resulting in a maximum total score of 112
